Dayton, OH Sr. Structural Engineer Job Qualifications:
To
qualify, you should hold a Bachelor of Science degree in
Civil/Structural Engineering; Professional Engineering (PE) registration
is preferred, but not required. A Master’s degree in Structural
Engineering is a plus. A minimum of eight (no more than fifteen) years
of engineering design experience, inclusive of any postgraduate
engineering-related education is required. You must have the ability to
become registered as a professional engineer as evidenced by ABET
accreditation or passing of the FE exam. Your background must focus on
industrial facilities design, rather than commercial and institutional
projects. A familiarity with STAAD.Pro is highly desired, as well. An
ability to conduct onsite work, and perform project management
functions, such as scheduling, budget monitoring, specification
development and editing on some projects is expected.
